SELF ASSESSMENT
• Can you walk into your bosses office unannounced at anytime if you have a concern or question?
• Do you feel like your input on Company matters is valued by management?
• Does your current employer provide an online scheduling program that lets you pick up over time and perform shift trades as needed 24/7?
• Do your supervisor or managers routinely buy you lunch?
• Does the owner of your Company know employees on a first name basis and greet everyone?
• Do your shifts allow you to further your education by going
back to school?
• Do your managers work in the field when it gets busy to help you out?
If you answered “NO” to any of these questions,
you might be working for the wrong company.

Speaking to a patient in the proper manner, understanding that many of them are in a new and stressful environment (we did a LOT of psych transfers) and actually having many patients ask for my supervisor's name and contact info because they wanted to let him know I was helpful was rewarding. Learning to do a job not just right, but well and in the correct manner, and then helping out a "Newbie" with a similar problem six months later is very enjoyable.

Just kidding) Worked there for a little under three years. Not a whole lot of dialysis calls ( the company started on psych transfers) which is pretty unique. Schedules vary from four 12-hour shifts to 24-hour shifts that rotate. Personally, I liked the 12 …
